In the Summer of 2014 I I was immersed in the world of pro surf photography, assisting legendary photographer Aaron Chang. A major hurricane was funneling up the West coast of California, so we set off to chase the swell up the coast. I shot this looking up the beach at sunset. The Wedge was all-time on this day and the energy on the beach was high with everyone coming to witness the massive waves on a hot summer day.
